Robert F. Flemming’s “Euphonica” Patented
On this day, 30 March 1886, Robert F. Flemming Jr. was granted a US patent for his invention of a “louder and more resonant” sounding guitar (compared to a traditional guitar). Flemming named his invention “Euphonica”.
